Kevin Stefanski Provides Update on Michael Penix's Rib Injury
Following the Falcons' loss to the Ravens, head coach Kevin Stefanski offered a brief update on quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who sustained a rib injury late in the fourth quarter.
Penix was injured during a sack while the game was tied at 23-23. Although he briefly left the field, he returned to attempt a pass before Atlanta punted. Stefanski mentioned that more information would be available after Penix undergoes imaging.
Before his exit, Penix completed 19 of 32 passes for 240 yards and one touchdown. Stefanski acknowledged the challenges faced by Penix against a strong defense and noted areas for improvement. The Falcons are set to face the Bears at home in Week 6.
