Key College Football Playoff Matchups Highlight Week 7

Week 7 of college football is set to feature significant matchups that could influence the College Football Playoff landscape. Notably, BYU will face Notre Dame in a crucial nonconference game, while Ohio State will take on Indiana in a key Big Ten clash.

The matchup between BYU and Notre Dame carries substantial playoff implications, as a victory for Notre Dame could secure their playoff spot after missing out last year. For BYU, a win would be monumental, potentially altering their postseason fate after being excluded in previous years.

Ohio State, despite an early loss to Texas, has shown dominance and seeks to solidify its playoff position against an undefeated Indiana team that recently overcame a tough challenge from Nebraska. Other notable games include Alabama aiming to rebound against Tennessee and Missouri looking to make a statement against Ole Miss, both of which could reshape playoff narratives.
