Erin Brooks, fresh off a win at Teahupo’o, will compete against Bella Kenworthy, who has yet to surf at Cloudbreak. Gabriel Medina, a two-time event winner, will take on Joel Vaughan, who is also new to this venue. Additionally, Leo Fioravanti will compete against the winner of a heat between Eli Hanneman and Teo Degei, as he seeks to regain his position in the rankings.
