Key Players to Watch in the National League Championship Series

Freddie Freeman has made a notable comeback for the Los Angeles Dodgers following a quiet second half of the season, contributing significantly in their National League Division Series victory over the Atlanta Braves.

Freeman hit home runs in Games 2 and 3 and maintained strong contact in Game 4, despite earlier struggles that included a power outage and knee tendinitis. Manager Dave Roberts has adjusted the batting order, moving Freeman to the second spot to maximize his at-bats, especially with Shohei Ohtani's compromised performance.

Other players to watch include Jackson Chourio of the Brewers, who has shown promise with a strong playoff performance, and William Contreras, known for his impactful at-bats. Dodgers' Max Muncy and pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto are also highlighted for their potential contributions in the upcoming series against the Brewers, who finished the regular season with the best record in the majors.
