Khabib Nurmagomedov shared his reaction to the retirement of Edson Barboza during UFC 330, where Barboza stepped away from the sport after suffering his fourth consecutive loss.

Barboza, who is 40 years old, announced his retirement in an emotional interview with Joe Rogan after the event, which featured Islam Makhachev's victory over Ian Machado Garry. Nurmagomedov, who previously faced Barboza in December 2017, noted that it was time for Barboza to prioritize his family over continuing to fight.

During the event, rumors of a potential comeback for Nurmagomedov surfaced when he was seen trying on fight gloves. However, UFC CEO Dana White dismissed the idea, suggesting that Nurmagomedov is unlikely to return to the Octagon.
