Khamzat Chimaev Calls Out Top Middleweights After First Loss
Khamzat Chimaev is adjusting his expectations regarding a potential middleweight title shot following his recent defeat. The fighter, who previously held the 185lb title, lost to Sean Strickland at UFC 328 in May.
Since that upset, Chimaev has been vocal about wanting a rematch with Strickland. On Monday, he reiterated this desire while also naming three other contenders: Dricus du Plessis, Nassourdine Imavov, and Caio Borralho, indicating his readiness to fight any of them.
Chimaev, who has a record of 15-1, is eager to remain active as he awaits his next UFC bout. He recently secured a victory over Dillon Danis in June and is scheduled to compete in a grappling match against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley at the VTB Arena in Moscow this Saturday.
