Khamzat Chimaev Confident in Russian Fighters at UFC 333

Khamzat Chimaev expressed confidence that at least one of his fellow Russian fighters will emerge as a champion at UFC 333, taking place in Abu Dhabi on October 24. The event will feature two title fights, including bantamweight champion Petr Yan's trilogy bout against Merab Dvalishvili and Alexander Volkanovski's defense against Movsar Evloev.

Chimaev, who is from Chechnya, is particularly optimistic about Evloev's chances against Volkanovski, while he remains uncertain about Yan's fight. He noted that both fighters are in good shape and acknowledged the unpredictability of Yan's match with Dvalishvili.

Evloev, who has a perfect record in the UFC, aims to secure a title with a decisive performance, contrasting with Chimaev's own path to his title shot, which involved finishing opponents quickly.
