Khamzat Chimaev has expressed that he does not view himself as a loser despite experiencing his first defeat in the octagon against Sean Strickland at UFC 328. This match, marked by intense rivalry, saw Chimaev lose his middleweight title after Strickland managed to recover from a takedown and outstrike him.

Following the loss, Chimaev quickly returned to competition, engaging in a brawl with Dillon Danis during an event under the RAF Wrestling banner. He is now preparing for a match against Tyron Woodley in Moscow and is aiming for a return to the UFC later this year, potentially in December.
