Ki MMA to Launch Global Grand Prix in 2027
Scott Coker and Peter Y. Levin have introduced Ki MMA, a new mixed martial arts promotion that will commence in 2027 with a 32-fighter World Grand Prix covering four continents.
The tournament will consist of a single weight division, as reported by Sherdog. Coker, known for his roles with Strikeforce and Bellator, and Levin aim to create a global competition format instead of a conventional league.
To prepare for the launch, Ki MMA has recruited former executives from ESPN and the NFL Network, along with an undisclosed former matchmaker, indicating a focus on production and logistics. Further details regarding the weight class and fighter roster have yet to be revealed, with announcements about the debut date and broadcast partner anticipated later this year.
