Kieran Brookes Called Up for Ireland XV Match Against Fiji A

Kieran Brookes, a former England rugby prop, has been selected for an Ireland XV match against Fiji A, taking place in Cork on November 20. This game will precede the senior Ireland team's match against South Africa in Dublin.

Brookes, who last played for England in 2016 and has 16 caps, is eligible to represent Ireland due to his Irish heritage. He has been performing well since joining Munster earlier this year. His international career began with a debut against New Zealand in 2014, and he participated in the 2015 World Cup.

The Ireland XV squad also includes Dan Kelly, another former England international, and will be coached by Ulster's Mark Sexton. Joey Carbery is set to make his return to the national team after four years.
