Kieran Trippier Suffers Knee Injury on League Debut for Wolves
Kieran Trippier, who recently joined Wolverhampton Wanderers, has suffered a knee ligament injury during his league debut against Blackburn Rovers.
The club confirmed that Trippier sustained a medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury in his left knee during the match, which ended in a 2-2 draw. The 35-year-old is anticipated to be out for several weeks following his arrival on a free transfer in June.
Additionally, teammate Yerson Mosquera is also facing time on the sidelines due to a slight tear in his ankle ligaments. In contrast, Wolves' director of performance, Phil Hayward, reported positive progress for winger Rafiki Said, who is recovering from a high-grade MCL injury and has recently been cleared from his brace.
