Kim Le Court Wins Stage Three of Tour of Britain Women
Kim Le Court from Mauritius triumphed in stage three of the Lloyd's Tour of Britain Women, which took place at the Great Orme. This victory allowed her to take the overall leader's green jersey.
Le Court, riding for AG Insurance-Soudal, surged ahead of her competitors with three kilometers remaining in the challenging final ascent in Llandudno, completing the 104.7km race in a time of 2 hours, 46 minutes, and 10 seconds. She finished 13 seconds ahead of Liane Lippert from Germany, with Sweden's Caroline Andersson taking third place, 20 seconds behind.
With this win, Le Court now leads the general classification by 26 seconds over Lippert, while Lorena Wiebes from the Netherlands is in third place, 35 seconds off the pace. Last year, Le Court led the race until a crash on the second stage, but this year she demonstrated her strength in dry conditions. The race continues with stage four, a 138.3km route to Hay on Wye.
