King Willem-Alexander to Present Trophy at 2026 Dutch Grand Prix

King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands is set to present the winner's trophy at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix, which will take place at Zandvoort from August 21-23. This event will mark the final Formula 1 race at this venue.

This presentation will be the king's first official appearance at a sporting event in the Netherlands to award a prize, although he and Queen Máxima have attended the Dutch Grand Prix privately since its return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021.

The Dutch Grand Prix organizers and F1 management agreed to a one-year contract extension for 2026, but Zandvoort will be removed from the calendar in 2027. The director of the Dutch Grand Prix, Robert van Overdijk, noted the decision to conclude the event on a high note, following successful races in 2025 and 2026.
