Kings Sign Trhae Mitchell to Training Camp Contract

The Sacramento Kings have added Trhae Mitchell to their training camp roster, according to a tweet from Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot.

At 29 years old, Mitchell has primarily played in the G League since going undrafted in 2020. He was briefly signed and then waived by the New Orleans Pelicans during last year's training camp, subsequently playing for the Birmingham Squadron, where he averaged 5.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 48 games.

This marks Mitchell's second season with the Squadron, following a four-year stint with the Rio Grande Vipers. If he signed an Exhibit 10 deal, he could earn a bonus of up to $91,000 if waived before the end of camp and spends at least 60 days with the Stockton Kings, Sacramento's G League affiliate. The Kings currently have 20 players on their training camp roster, just one short of the maximum allowed.
