Kinley Rasmus's notable journey at the Little League World Series has concluded following her team's elimination on Wednesday, where they faced an 11-2 defeat against a team from Hamilton, Ohio.
During the game, Rasmus, who played shortstop and walked once, made a significant impact throughout the tournament. She achieved a record for girls by securing five hits, along with three RBIs and three runs scored over five games.
On the pitching side, Rasmus matched the records set by Mo'Ne Davis, achieving a total of 14 strikeouts and eight strikeouts in a single game, both records for girls in the tournament's history. Rasmus is recognized as the 25th girl to participate in the Little League World Series, which is celebrating its 79th year, and she is also among the few who have pitched in the event.
