KL Rahul Struggles in Unofficial Test Against New Zealand A

KL Rahul faced a difficult match in the first unofficial Test between India A and New Zealand A at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval, where he scored only four runs across two innings.

In his first innings, Rahul was dismissed for a duck after edging a delivery from Fraser Sheat to the wicketkeeper, contributing to India A's total of just 113 runs. In the second innings, he managed four runs before being dismissed in an unusual hit-wicket manner, where he accidentally struck the off stump while trying to stop the ball from hitting the wickets.

Rahul's performance was disappointing, as he was dismissed twice by Sheat, leaving India A in a challenging position, trailing by 204 runs after New Zealand A scored 317. The series consists of three unofficial Tests, with the next match scheduled to begin on October 31.
