Klint Kubiak Discusses Fernando Mendoza's Progress with Raiders

Fernando Mendoza is preparing for his opportunity to lead the Las Vegas Raiders' offense, although he remains a backup to veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Klint Kubiak, the Raiders' head coach, has noted his approval of Mendoza's progress, highlighting the quarterback's dedication to improving his skills. Despite appearing in only one game this season, Mendoza has been observed putting in extra effort on the practice field.

Selected first overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, Mendoza continues to support the team as they face challenges, including a three-game losing streak. The Raiders will seek to reverse their fortunes in an upcoming game against the Los Angeles Rams at Allegiant Stadium.
