Klint Kubiak Updates on Brock Bowers' Injury Status
On Wednesday, during a press conference, Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak addressed the media regarding the availability of tight end Brock Bowers and edge rusher Maxx Crosby for the upcoming season opener against the Dolphins.
Kubiak initially expressed optimism about Bowers' readiness for the game, stating that he expected all players to be prepared. However, later reports revealed that Bowers would miss 1-2 games following a meniscus trim procedure performed on Tuesday, which was necessitated by an injury sustained during training camp.
In a subsequent press conference, Kubiak confirmed that Bowers would not be available, although he remained hopeful for a quick return. He refrained from providing a specific timeline for Bowers' recovery but indicated that the tight end, who was the No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 draft, is expected to play a key role in the team's offense upon his return.
