Kofi Kingston Files Trademarks Indicating New Ring Name
Kofi Kingston has recently filed trademarks for two names, Kofi Sarkodie-Mensah and KSM, following his departure from WWE earlier this year. Speculation about his next move in wrestling is growing, with reports suggesting a possible landing at AEW, although no official confirmation has been provided.
The trademarks, registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, are intended for merchandise such as shirts and hoodies, as well as for wrestling-related appearances. The attorney handling the filings is Michael E. Dockins, known for assisting wrestlers with trademark registrations.
In late July, Kingston shared a symbolic video indicating a departure from his previous wrestling identity. On the same day as the trademark filings, it was announced that he and Xavier Woods would participate in Chris Jericho's Rock N Wrestling Rager Cruise in November, alongside making appearances at various conventions since leaving WWE.
