Kohyn Eshkawkogan Commits to Penn State Hockey

Kohyn Eshkawkogan, a defenseman born in 2008, has committed to play hockey for Penn State, as shared on his Instagram account.

During the 2025-26 season with the Ottawa 67's in the OHL, Eshkawkogan recorded 45 assists and a total of 53 points across 68 games. His performance placed him tied for second among OHL defensemen in assists, and he earned a spot on the OHL First All-Rookie Team.

As he prepares for the 2027 season with the Nittany Lions, Eshkawkogan is regarded as a top prospect for the NHL Draft, with expectations of being selected in the first or second round.
