On the opening day of Supercars racing at Queensland Raceway near Ipswich, Queensland, Brodie Kostecki and Will Brown each claimed a victory. Ford teams Dick Johnson Racing and Triple Eight performed strongly, with Kostecki winning the first race and Brown taking the second.
Kostecki triumphed in the initial race, driving his Ford Mustang to victory over Matt Payne and Brown. He secured the win by 2.16 seconds, marking his first victory at the team's home track and his seventh of the season. In the second race, Brown overcame previous technical issues to win, marking his first victory in a year.
The second race saw Kostecki maintain a lead until a safety car reshuffled the field, allowing Brown to capitalize and take the lead.
