Kovai Kings Advance to TNPL-10 Final with Dominant Win

The Vida Kovai Kings triumphed over the Trichy Grand Cholas by 84 runs in Qualifier 2 of the TNPL-10, securing their spot in the final at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday.

Kovai Kings set a total of 183 runs, bolstered by a strong opening partnership of 104 runs between S. Lokeshwar, who scored 66 runs, and S. Radhakrishnan, who contributed 48 runs. Shahrukh Khan added a quick 34 runs to the total. The Grand Cholas struggled in their chase, losing early wickets, including a hat-trick from Deeban Lingesh, who finished with figures of three for 14.

The Grand Cholas were quickly in trouble, collapsing to seven runs for five wickets. M. Siddharth also excelled with the ball, taking four wickets for 11 runs. The match concluded with the Grand Cholas all out for 99 runs in just 15.4 overs. The Kovai Kings will face the Madurai Panthers in the final on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
