Kristi Miller Appointed Interim Chair of Hockey Canada
Kristi Miller has been appointed as the interim chair of Hockey Canada's board of directors, as announced by the governing body on Wednesday.
Miller has been a board member since November 18, 2023, and is part of a new group that took over from a transition board established during the Hockey Canada sexual assault scandal. The previous board resigned on October 11, 2022, due to criticism regarding its response to allegations involving members of Canada's 2018 world junior team.
Last November, Miller was re-elected for a three-year term. She is the president of RTB Enterprises Inc. and has previously chaired Hockey Canada’s audit and finance committee. A new board chair will be elected at the annual meeting on December 5 in Toronto to succeed Jonathan Goldbloom, who resigned on Monday.
