Kristian Høgenhaug Prepares with Aero-Optimized Quintana Roo V-PRi for Kona Race
Kristian Høgenhaug from Denmark is set to compete in Kona with his meticulously optimized Quintana Roo V-PRi, known for its lightweight and aerodynamic design.
The bike, a Studio NEXT version, has a total weight of 1,900 g for the frame and fork. Høgenhaug opted for a larger size after extensive testing, finding it to be faster than the medium size he initially intended to use.
Collaborating with Drag2Zero, Høgenhaug fine-tuned his bike's fit and selected the best aero components, including the Drag2Zero.66 Pole System extensions. He will also utilize Shimano’s new Dura-Ace wheels during the race, featuring a C-60 front and a pro-only C-99 rear wheel. Although his recent season has not matched his previous successes, he finished ninth in Kona during the last men's race held there.
