Kyle Korver Steps Down as Assistant GM of the Hawks
Kyle Korver has departed from his role as assistant general manager of the Atlanta Hawks, a position he held for four years. General manager Onsi Saleh confirmed the news, stating that the decision was amicable and that Korver will always be part of the Hawks family.
Korver, who joined the Hawks' front office in 2022 as director of player affairs and development, was promoted to assistant GM in January 2023. He expressed enthusiasm for his next chapter post-playing career, which includes spending more time with his family.
During his 17-season NBA career, Korver was selected 51st overall in the 2003 draft and made one All-Star appearance in the 2014/15 season with the Hawks. He also served as a player development assistant with the Brooklyn Nets in the 2021/22 season.
