This victory marked the end of a 51-race winless streak for Larson, who outpaced Alex Bowman and Joey Logano during the race's second overtime on Sunday.

The race was marked by numerous caution flags, particularly in the final laps, with several drivers including Christopher Bell and Tyler Reddick contributing to the interruptions. Larson's Chevrolet started alongside Bowman's car and managed to maintain the lead, finishing 0.333 seconds ahead of Bowman.

This win is Larson's first since May of the previous season at Kansas. The race set a track record with 18 cautions, and notable incidents included crashes involving Reddick, Stenhouse, and Elliott, among others. Logano, Byron, and Chastain completed the top five positions.
