Kyle Larson Evaluates Hendrick Motorsports' Championship Prospects

Kyle Larson has expressed that Hendrick Motorsports may not currently appear to be a top contender for the championship as the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season nears its conclusion.

Despite going over a year without a victory, Larson noted that three of the team's four drivers, including himself, have qualified for The Chase. He emphasized the need for improvement but also highlighted the team's experience as a source of confidence.

Speaking before the Cook Out 400 at Richmond, Larson acknowledged the skepticism surrounding Hendrick's championship potential. He recalled last season's performance, where despite Joe Gibbs Racing's dominance, Hendrick managed to excel at crucial moments. Currently, Larson ranks 10th in the standings, still seeking his first win of the season, while Chase Elliott is the only Hendrick driver to have secured a victory this year.
