Ladd McConkey Cleared to Play, Derwin James Ruled Out Against Rams
The Chargers will have two of their key receivers available for their upcoming game against the Rams. Ladd McConkey, who had been dealing with a concussion, has been cleared to play after completing three full practices this week.
McConkey sustained his injury during the game against the Chiefs in Week 6 but has since recovered following the team's bye week. He currently ranks second on the team with 13 receptions and 200 receiving yards this season. Tre’ Harris, who was limited earlier in the week due to a hamstring issue, is also set to play after participating fully in Friday's practice.
However, safety Derwin James will not play due to a hamstring injury, along with defensive back Deane Leonard, guard Kayode Awosika, and receiver Brenen Thompson, who are also out. Cornerbacks Donte Jackson and Rodney Shelley are listed as questionable due to hamstring injuries.
