Lakers Consider Zach LaVine as Buyout Option Amid Jonathan Kuminga Interest
The Los Angeles Lakers are currently evaluating Jonathan Kuminga's status as they seek to strengthen their wing position.
However, the likelihood of acquiring the former Golden State Warriors player appears to be diminishing due to his high salary demands and past issues with team dynamics. ESPN's Jorge Sedano suggested that the Lakers should consider Zach LaVine instead, noting that LaVine could be a viable option if he becomes available.
While LaVine has injury concerns, Sedano believes he would be a better choice compared to Kuminga, who has faced criticism regarding his commitment. LaVine has recently opted into a significant contract with the Chicago Bulls, but his future could change depending on the performance of the Sacramento Kings next season.
