Lamar Jackson Expected to Play Against Bills in Week 8
Lamar Jackson is expected to return to the Baltimore Ravens' lineup for their Week 8 game against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. This update comes after a report indicated uncertainty regarding his recovery from an ankle injury sustained during a game against the Tennessee Titans on October 4.
Ian Rapoport from NFL Network/ESPN shared that Jackson is believed to be close to full recovery and will likely play against the 5-1 Bills. Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley has been filling in for Jackson, leading the Ravens to a recent overtime victory but also experiencing a loss against the Cleveland Browns and a significant defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Rapoport noted that Jackson's injury was initially projected to take two to three weeks to heal, and he is now through the third week of recovery. The Ravens are optimistic about his availability not only for the Bills game but also for their matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on November 5.
