Lamar Jackson Misses Practice Ahead of Sunday Game
Quarterback Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens did not participate in practice on Friday, raising doubts about his availability for the Sunday night game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Jackson has been sidelined all week following an ankle sprain he sustained during last week's win over the Tennessee Titans. Although Ravens head coach Jesse Minter mentioned that Jackson could still play without practicing, backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is expected to start if Jackson is unable to go.
This season, Jackson has achieved a completion rate of 70.8 percent, accumulating 967 passing yards along with six touchdowns and one interception. In his brief appearance last week, Huntley completed 8 of 9 passes for 63 yards and added 16 rushing yards.
