Lamar Jackson Misses Ravens Practice Ahead of Falcons Game
Lamar Jackson was absent from the Ravens' practice on Thursday, continuing to recover from an ankle injury sustained during the Week 4 victory over the Titans. Head coach Jesse Minter had previously indicated that Jackson's chances of playing against the Falcons on Sunday night remained uncertain.
Despite Jackson's absence, Minter noted that it is not mandatory for him to practice in order to play. However, the lack of participation leading up to Friday's practice diminishes the likelihood of his appearance in Atlanta. Should Jackson be unable to play, Tyler Huntley is expected to take the starting position, with rookie Joe Fagnano serving as the backup.
Additionally, several other players, including linebacker Trey Hendrickson, cornerback Marlon Humphrey, and center Cam Jurgens, were also noted as missing from the open practice session.
