Lamar Jackson Returns to Practice as Injury Recovery Progresses
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is making progress in his recovery from an ankle injury that has sidelined him for the past two games. He returned to practice on Wednesday in a limited capacity, and on Thursday, he was again listed as limited, which is a positive sign for his potential return against the Cincinnati Bengals.
During the media viewing of Thursday's practice, Jackson demonstrated good mobility and did not appear to favor his injured ankle. He successfully completed several deep throws during warmups. Jackson sustained the injury in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans, and Tyler Huntley has been starting in his place, leading the Ravens to a win against the Atlanta Falcons and a loss to the Cleveland Browns.
The Ravens currently hold a 4-2 record, tied with the Browns and Steelers, while the Bengals are at 3-2. Jackson's final status for the upcoming game is expected to be determined over the weekend.
