Lancashire to Release Young Batters Harry Singh and Kesh Fonseka
Lancashire County Cricket Club will release batters Harry Singh and Kesh Fonseka when their contracts expire at the end of this month.
Harry Singh, 22, participated in 34 matches across various formats but only achieved one half-century, averaging 9.50 in Championship cricket. He played eight County Championship games this summer, scoring 133 runs in 14 innings.
Kesh Fonseka, 20, has primarily been involved with the second XI and has played four One-Day Cup matches, though he did not feature this season. Lancashire finished seventh in Division Two in 2026, marking their lowest position in Championship history, but recently appointed Paul Farbrace as the new director of cricket.
