Lando Norris Claims Victory at Dutch Grand Prix
Lando Norris triumphed at the Dutch Grand Prix, racing for McLaren, as he outmaneuvered Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli in a strategic showdown. The race commenced with chaos when Max Verstappen crashed his Red Bull at high speed on a damp track, resulting in a red flag.
After the restart, Antonelli initially took the lead from Norris, but Norris executed two pit stops effectively, allowing him to regain the advantage and ultimately pass Antonelli for the win. Lewis Hamilton, who was leading at one point, was overtaken by Norris later in the race.
The race also featured a late virtual safety car, which led to team orders controversy at Mercedes, as George Russell was instructed to let Antonelli pass. Despite this, Russell managed to secure third place, while Fernando Alonso earned points for Aston Martin-Honda with a ninth-place finish.
