Lando Norris Critiques McLaren's Challenging Car Ahead of US Grand Prix
Lando Norris has expressed concerns about the handling of his McLaren ahead of the United States Grand Prix, despite achieving pole positions and race victories earlier this season.
During a media session in Austin, Norris described the car as one of the hardest he has ever driven, highlighting that its raw speed concealed significant flaws in its chassis. He noted that while he managed to secure impressive results, the car's narrow operating window made it extremely challenging to drive, particularly during qualifying.
Norris emphasized the need for improvements in the car's drivability for the next season, stating that the current model is not suitable for championship contention. He also mentioned the physical toll the Circuit of the Americas takes on drivers, as the track's bumps have forced him to take medication to cope with the impacts.
