Despite a challenging start to the season, McLaren has shown significant improvement after implementing upgrades, with Norris achieving consecutive victories at the Hungarian and Dutch Grands Prix. He noted that the team is operating more efficiently than in previous years, which he believes is crucial for championship success.
Currently, McLaren ranks third in the constructors' championship with 263 points, trailing leader Mercedes by 162 points. Norris holds fourth place in the drivers' standings with 159 points, 83 points behind leader Kimi Antonelli.
