Lando Norris Launches New Racing Team and Junior Driver Programme

Lando Norris has introduced two initiatives aimed at fostering young racing talent: a single-seater team named LN4 Fusion and the LN4 Legacy programme. The announcement was made on Wednesday, with the goal of guiding underfunded drivers towards a career in Formula 1.

LN4 Fusion will be managed by Rene Rosin, a former team boss at Prema, and will compete in F2, F3, and British F4. The LN4 Legacy programme, led by Julian Rouse, is designed to provide financial support to promising young drivers, starting with one yet-to-be-named individual. Norris emphasized the need to assist talented individuals in navigating the high costs associated with single-seater racing.

Following the announcement, Rosin reportedly received several hundred job applications within an hour, indicating strong interest in the new team. Norris acknowledged the importance of addressing the financial barriers in motorsport and called for broader support from the FIA and Formula 1 to make racing more accessible.
