Lando Norris Launches Race Team and Young Driver Programme

Lando Norris, the reigning Formula 1 world champion, has announced the launch of his own single-seater race team and a young driver programme, set to compete in Europe starting in 2027.

The new team, named LN4 Fusion, is a collaboration with British karting team Fusion Motorsport and will participate in Formula 3 and 4 next year. LN4 Fusion has acquired certain assets from AIX Racing and plans to apply for a Formula 2 entry in 2027.

Rene Rosin, a former Prema team boss, will serve as the team principal, while Guillaume Capietto, the ex-Prema technical chief, will take on the role of racing director. Dan Richards has been appointed as CEO, and Dan Hazlewood will oversee the UK operations, including the British F4 entry. Additionally, Norris has initiated the LN4 Legacy Programme, which aims to support young drivers financially as they progress through the FIA's single-seater ranks.
