Lando Norris' LN4 Fusion Secures Spot in 2027 Formula 2
Lando Norris' newly established race team, LN4 Fusion, has officially been granted entry to the Formula 2 grid for the 2027 season. This team will be the only new addition among the ten existing teams starting next season.
LN4 Fusion was created in September, with ambitions to compete in Formula 3 and Formula 4, but it needed to complete an application process to secure its place in Formula 2. The team's entry has now been confirmed, following the acquisition of assets from the former AIX squad.
F2 CEO Bruno Michel noted the strong interest from teams worldwide for the upcoming three-year cycle and expressed confidence in LN4 Fusion's potential contributions to the championship. The team will be led in the UK by Fusion karting chief Dan Hazlewood, while former Prema team members will oversee European operations. LN4 CEO Dan Richards highlighted the achievement as a significant milestone for the team and emphasized their commitment to building a competitive motorsport organization.
