Lando Norris Signs Contract Extension with McLaren Until 2030
Lando Norris has officially extended his contract with McLaren, securing his position with the team until at least 2030, along with a multi-year option for further commitment.
Norris, who hails from Somerset, joined McLaren's junior program in 2017 and has since progressed to a race seat in 2019. He has participated in 163 Grands Prix, achieving 18 pole positions, 48 podiums, and 13 wins, while also contributing to two Constructors' Championships and winning the Drivers' World Championship.
The contract extension was announced by Norris at the McLaren Technology Centre during an open day event. This move follows Oscar Piastri's contract extension last year and aligns with the long-term commitments made by CEO Zak Brown and Team Principal Andrea Stella. As part of the announcement, Norris will receive an MCL39 car, a token of his achievements with the team.
