Larry Fitzgerald Inducted into Hall of Fame, Rejects Retirement Label

Fitzgerald expressed on the Cardinals’ website that he has no intention of using the term retirement to describe his current status. He shared insights from his grandfather, who believed that retirement can have negative effects on individuals. Fitzgerald emphasized that he views life as a series of transitions rather than a definitive end.

After announcing he would not return for an 18th season, Fitzgerald avoided the retirement label and continues to feel he has more to accomplish in his life.
