Lars Zeepvat Plans Not Guilty Plea in Penn State Drug Case
Lars Zeepvat has waived his formal arraignment and plans to plead not guilty to multiple charges linked to an alleged drug trafficking operation involving Penn State fraternities, as indicated in a Centre County court filing dated August 20.
Zeepvat, one of 13 individuals charged in connection with the operation, faces four felony counts, including conspiracy and drug-related offenses, along with two misdemeanors. He previously waived his preliminary hearing on August 17, allowing the charges to proceed to the Centre County Court of Common Pleas.
According to a grand jury presentment, Zeepvat was associated with the alleged ringleader and participated in obtaining and distributing cocaine. The presentment details that he had a prior source for cocaine in Philadelphia and later sought new suppliers in New York. No trial date has been set as of the latest court records.
