Las Vegas Raiders Hold Tryouts for Veteran Running Backs
The Las Vegas Raiders are assessing their options for a third running back during training camp, bringing in three veterans for tryouts: James Robinson, Kenny McIntosh, and Dare Ogunbowale.
Robinson, who has a notable career with over 2,200 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns, is the most experienced among the trio, despite recent knee issues affecting his performance. Ogunbowale has contributed primarily on special teams and as a third-down back, while McIntosh, a recent seventh-round draft pick, has limited experience in the NFL.
With Ashton Jeanty and Mike Washington established as the primary backs, the Raiders are considering whether to add a veteran to the roster for depth. The decision will be influenced by the performance of the tryout candidates as training camp progresses.
