Las Vegas Raiders Request $75 Million for Allegiant Stadium Improvements
The Las Vegas Raiders have submitted a request for $75 million in taxpayer funding to improve Allegiant Stadium, which opened in 2020. This request comes as the stadium is set to host Super Bowl LXIII in February 2029.
The proposed enhancements include a $158 million project focused on the North Entry of the stadium, aimed at creating a more appealing arrival area for fans. The Las Vegas Stadium Authority is currently reviewing this funding request, which would utilize money from an existing stadium-improvement fund.
Since its opening, Allegiant Stadium has hosted significant events, including Super Bowl LVIII and multiple Pac-12 Championship Games. The Raiders plan to privately fund the remaining costs of the improvement project.
