Layne Riggs Accepts Teammate's Victory Amid Championship Battle

In a recent race, Layne Riggs of Front Row Motorsports finished third while his teammate Chandler Smith secured the win, demonstrating a competitive spirit without team orders. Riggs is now 20 points behind Kaden Honeycutt in the championship race as they head to Homestead.

During the final restart, Smith passed Riggs on the outside to take the lead, marking a significant moment for both drivers. Riggs expressed no issues with Smith racing for himself, acknowledging that his teammate performed as expected.

Smith, who is set to transition to a NASCAR O'Reilly ride with Richard Childress Racing, noted the importance of balancing his responsibility to win while considering Riggs' championship aspirations. Despite the competitive nature of the race, Riggs maintained a positive outlook on his performance and the points gained.
