LeBron James Debuts with Philadelphia 76ers in Pre-Season Game
LeBron James made his debut with the Philadelphia 76ers in a pre-season game against the Brooklyn Nets in New York.
This marks the beginning of what is anticipated to be the final chapter of his NBA career, as he embarks on his 24th season. James, who joined the 76ers this summer, was part of the starting lineup alongside fellow All-Star Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and VJ Edgecombe.
James had previously missed the team's exhibition opener against the New York Knicks. Coach Nick Nurse indicated that the starters would play approximately half of the game. After spending eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, James signed a two-year contract with the 76ers for the league minimum. The team is set to open its regular season on October 20 against the Knicks, who will be celebrating their NBA championship.
