Leicester Tigers Make Changes Ahead of Slater Cup Match Against Gloucester
Leicester Tigers will host Gloucester on Friday for the Slater Cup, marking the third week of Premiership action in the East Midlands.
In preparation for the match, Leicester has made five changes to their starting lineup, including the introduction of hooker Jamie Blamire, who will start his first Premiership game of the season. Other changes include Archie van der Flier stepping in for Mako Vunipola, while Finn Carnduff and Ollie Hassell-Collins also join the starting pack.
The Slater Cup honors Ed Slater, a former lock who captained both teams and was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2022. This match serves as a significant event for both clubs as they aim to raise awareness for MND-related charities.
