Leon Slater Claims X-Division Championship Again at TNA Lockdown
Leon Slater regained the X-Division Championship at TNA Lockdown, marking his second reign with the title. The event took place in Chicago, where Slater faced Cedric Alexander in a Last Man Standing steel cage match.
The match began with Alexander gaining the upper hand, but Slater reversed the momentum with a Standing Blue Thunderbomb. After a series of intense exchanges, including a Michinoku Driver from Alexander, Slater ultimately triumphed by executing three consecutive Lumbar Checks followed by a Swanton 450. Alexander was unable to respond by the ninth count, allowing Slater to emerge victorious.
Slater's first reign as X-Division Champion began at Slammiversary 2025, where he made history as the youngest titleholder at 20 years old. He previously held the title for 298 days, tying with Austin Aries, but was interrupted by Alexander in his quest for a 300-day reign.
