Leona Maguire of Ireland achieved a remarkable nine-under-par 63 during the third round of the Women's Irish Open at the K Club in County Kildare, placing her in a tie for sixth position at 11 under par.
Maguire's impressive performance included birdies on nine of the first 15 holes, contributing to her rise on the leaderboard. Despite a near miss for a birdie on the 18th hole, she expressed satisfaction with her return to form after two earlier rounds of 71.
Casandra Alexander from South Africa continues to lead the tournament with a total of 18 under par, following her round of 69. Czech player Sara Kouskova is in second place at 15 under, while Kajsa Arwefjaell matched Maguire's score with a 63, moving to third place at 13 under.
